stolen chatterbox!!!!!

hey for all u riders out there... im sure u know what a chatterbox is (about a $330 radio that attaches to bike helmets) here's my situation.....

used to work with this girl (we both just quit). i knew she just bought a bike so i offered to sell her some of my old gear... her and her boyfriend came to my apartment friday night to see if they wanted anything. she bought one of my helmets and gave me a $50 check (still dont know if its real...). her bf was interested in the chatterbox (was going to sell it to him for $90) but i dont have the powercord to it so it wasnt charged. he asked if he could take it to a friends house who has one to charge it and give it back to me or pay for it either saturday or sunday. i was like ok i trust u. no call saturday, no call sunday. today i text girl around noon and ask her if her bf had a chance to charge it...no text back. im getting this strange feeling he's trying to jack it from me. i have her address from the check she wrote me so i dont understand y they would think they're getting away with it if thats the case. gonna text her again tomorrow and if she doesnt answer im thinkin about making an unannounced stop by her house maybe on thursday...

do u guys think thats a little too overboard??
