i have a 350z and i went up to the stealership to ask about the nismo z when it came out and he said wait for the gtr.....needless to say its been promised for 10 months the date of when it comes out..... still nothing.... im on the stealerships first to call list when they know what they are getting ... i live in tampa so im sure we will be one of the first cities to get it ..... according to what there saying there will only be two dif models.... unlike the three predicted.... still no one knows which motor they are going to go with regaurdless of what websites say.... im on a 350 forum and they stay on top of stuff..... all i know is the v-8 they were going to use kept blowing up on the german race track.....

in all honesty im still waiting for the new supra to come out that they introduced at sema last year..

best car on the road....? it was never that..... in stock form it only had 270hp.... far from top dog..... and the track times werent all that pleasing either for a AWD..... The only reason most people even know about the skyline is because of lovely 2 fast 2 furious...... but then again i didnt see many body kits or tin can exhausts until after the frist fast and furious...(thanks for that one)

the skyline had a conversion kit that pushed it from stock to 400 pretty easy. if you had the cash you could easy squeeze 1000 bhp out of it, in the uk that cost about £50k.
you get a R34 on the road pushing 400+ and nothing will touch you! forget your top dog super cars, get a R33 or R34 tuned and it will piss all over anything else out there

R34 granted is a beast tuned ..... but theres a car called a toyota supra does that ring a bell.... it takes alot less for a supra to be 600-1000rwhp than a skyline and not to mention .skylines break all the time once tuned..... the only reason skylines get publicity is becuase its rare here in america and and expensive to get a hold of .... r32 r33 you can find but r34 takes like 80 grand to get here and street legal....

I wish i was in the US they are £50k in the Uk.
The at the time Skyline R32 was the only road going car to out perform the Audi Quattro S1. And that was the daddy of Group-B rally. Yeah i know they will break but even the WRC cars of today dont do many miles before they need stripping and rebuilding.

I dont get the street legal bit in the US tho.

It will definitely not be a tuned VQ TT engine as majority predicted, but either way my money is on a V shape TT where you’ll need to purchase two of everything and not all that mod friendly.

Post pics or a video of the new concept Supra, which speculated as a V8.

Looks like both companies decided to leave the 2JZ and RB engines back in the 90s and move on up with some new shit. Here in the states, people drop 2JZ almost into any make/model, even the 69 Camaro since it is the ultimate powerhouse. Cant’t see how Toyota will top that with the new Supra.

you ever been in or around real GTR's? how about the other "super cars"? I've owned a lot of cars that meet that definition and my GTR was way awesomer(tm) than anything I've had or any of myfriends have had.

the street legal bit, as you say, was a complete fiasco run by a sham of a company in MotoRex headed by Hiroaki Nanhoshi.. he's awaiting federal charges last I heard... ask me how/why I know..
