mouthwash and methanol
I got to thinking those of use who use mouthwash daily or twice daily are swishing around methanol in our mouths.
Is it possible that some of this methanol could be absorbed sublingually and be causing cell damage over a long period of time?

Methanol? or did you mean ethanol alcohol? Not enough Ethanol gets absorbed by swishing it in your mouth to cause any type of damage.

Its ethanol, and methanol doesnt cause cell damage its the aldehydes that are produced by the alcohol dehydrogenase enzyme that breaks it down that causes all the negatives such as blindness and death.
