What does reseting your metabolism mean?
I noticed alot of people on here say to have atleast one cheat meal a week,
To reset their metabolism. I don't completley undstand this though.
Is it that your body gets use to what you eat if you eat the same thing
all the time and will slow down your metabolism?
I was just wondering...because I'm pretty much following the (Lean Bulk )
diet in the stickys.

So, resetting your metabolism means you trick your body into burning more calories than it already has been doing because your metabolism may have reduced it's calorie burning efficiency (which is what happens when you go on a cut).
In short, your body will adapt to how much you eat. Lets say your body's BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is 3000 calories per day. If you go on a cut and drop to a deficit of 2000 calories per day in order to burn fat, then over time your body will adjust itself to burn ONLY 2000 calories per day, thus you will stop burning fat. You need to bump your body's BMR back up by having a high calorie day or 2 to trick your body into thinking it needs to burn more. Same thing when you increase cals. If you increase cals to lets say 5000 per day when your BMR is already 3000 per day, then your body will adjust to burn 5000 calories a day efficiently.

on the bright side, sort of, because this applies to like .3 of the population
I have heard that some guys actually have to eat pizza, donuts, mcdonalds on a daily basis to get from say 5 percent bodyfat to 4.....Now thats extreme, and we are talking professional or near to it, ie with drugs,
but nevertheless, some guys need it and it helps......now if you are going to try and use this to go from say 16 percent bodyfat down to 10-12, you'll end up at 22 percent bodyfat

What i'm wondering is if you still need to include cheat days/meals if you're using T3, since you are basically already controlling how much metabolism output you will have via exogenous thyroid hormone...

T3 = synthetic exogenous triiodothyronine (thyroid hormone).

You probably don't, since your natural T3 production is shut down anyways and you are already controlling your metabolism yourself with the exogenous T3.

Thats the amazing thing about T3.... Lets say you jump on a cycle like
350mg of test prop and
350mg of Tren Every week... Completely stop muscle waisting from dieting now when you drop your caloric intake below maintenance your body controls your metabolism by lower or adjusting T3/T4 levels so lets say you drop to 2000 calories a day your not losing muscle cause your anabolic but your metabolism starts to slow to compensate for the reduced calories... add T3 @ say 50-75 micrograms per day and bang your metabolisms running a little stronger then if you were eating 5000 calories a day... your pretty much not loosing muscle from your cycle and you throw in some cardio to help burn the fat thats already there.... and its shred city

Let's get a few thing straight, you are not resetting your metabolism.
You are increasing certain hormones that regulate your metabolism.
All bodily functions are balanced, this balance is called homeostasis and it's what regulates just about every function in the human body. One hormone goes up, another goes down, this is often referred to as a negative feedback loop. Think, Test/Estrogen or Insulin /Glucagon.
By cheating or refeeding you are able to boost insulin as well as leptin which will upregulate t3, HGH as well as Testosterone all which decline during hypocaloric periods."without your word you're a shell of a man" - Tupac
