Would someone with no testicles produce large amounts of LH?
Just a simple question I was wondering. Would a eunuch's hypothalamus produce large amounts of LH simply due to a complete lack of testosterone ?

Yes they can have higher levels of circulating LH .. This can occur from a lack of androgen negative feedback ( eunuchs have low androgen levels).. they also have little to no estrogen
The hypothalamus monitors test levels .. It also generates GnRH which is sensed by the pituitary ..
On too the testes ( not in a gay way ..lol).. They have two main parts .. The interstitial portion that contains leydig cells .. The other is the seminiferous tubles( containing the sertoli and germ cells , this accounts for 80-90 % of testicle volume).. they are influenced by FSH and test.... Both LH and FSH are secreated by the pituitary GnRH is secreted from nerve cells in the hypothalamus ..
