    Anyone know detailed history about the Red Socks?

    Hey guys just wondering, any guys here really know there stuff about the Red Socks? If so can anyone tell me everything they know about a guy called Ted Lewis? Born in Machynlleth in 1872.

    Yeah i looked at that it does not detail something about him though and i cannot for the life of me remember what it was exaclty.

    It has something to do with him having a record for doing something in a major league game against some one, (may have been his last game).
    Its something like he won the major league final or something by bowling out so many player or something. I am sorry for the loose hint but he was something like the first for player for the red socks to do it or something??

    Lot of somethings in there i know but i cant think of any other words to put in lol

    To sum it up quickly the owner of the team during the era of Babe Ruth sold the Babe to the yankees to provide his production company with enough money for a movie project.Ever since the team has had the worst luck in Major league baseball.
