Mtv True Life
I was actually watching some TV for a change and scanned past Mtv and saw it was one of those True Life stories. This one is aboue fat kids seeking Bariatric/Gastric bypass surgery.
wtf?
This 17yr old kid is huge. He just weighed in at 387.5lbs and wants to get the surgery because of his "addiction".
One fat chick is huge and trying to be a model. "Im not gonna kill myself to be what everyone considers normal". "Just because your skinny does not mean your healthy". Of course she had 2-3 other fatties backing her up. You know, the classic "I'm fat as **** but wanna act like I don't care and I'm beautiful" complex.
Each fat person was told they were a good candidate for the surgery and to have them file a "necessity" report with their insurance company to get the surgery approved.
This is where it pisses me off. Why in the hell should this be convered by insurance? And people wonder why insurance is so goddamn high?
This is a goddamn joke and it pisses me off. I know I am not alone in this.
And to make it clear, it is this Insurance part that pisses me off and this should not be covered. **** it, if they wanna be disgusting gluteness slobs, so be it but dont force my insurance rates up because you damn near ate yourself to death.Last edited by Panzerfaust; 12-27-2007 at 09:03 PM.

I agree, but I think insurance covers it because they will be less of a risk to their insurance providers at a lower rate. (Just a thought, no facts to base this idea on.)

i just watched this video tonight...not on mtv, same thing though, 17 year old big john wei***ng in at 407 pounds before surgery......"he tried EVERYTHING, diet, exercising, and it just didnt seem to work for him
then, on film, the mother ****er is eating pizza and pop for dinner.....bullshit cafeteria food for lunch, and snacks galore......and some kind of pancake shit for breakfast.....yet he claimed to have tried EVERYTHING.....**** that bullshit
the kid did end up at 180 though in a year and a half, so my hats still off to him, but he could have done it without putting his life at risk with surgery if you ask me.......whats the difference between having some will power and eating less, vs having a smaller eating capacity due to surgery?????
