Do bodybuilders have a naturally higher than normal blood pressure?

Just wondering if having all that excess mass would make a bodybuilder have a higher than normal blood pressure but still be healthy?

I think so, I know when doing heavy sets your blood pressure can spike over 200/100's during reps

i know runners usually have a low resting heart rate and low base pressure

i don't know, i guess it just varies from person to person i suppose. if you are on some sort of AAS then that could keep it high while resting. Probably depends on your diet a whole lot also. High sodium, stimulants like caffiene and Nicotine... things like that

I think it just depends on the person. People that are high strung tend to have higher bp's. I don't think how much muscle you have plays a big factor...could be wrong though, it happens from time to time lol
