    is it for sure in london? cuz last that i knew chicago had a chance sometime...might not be 2012

    The organisers are putting too much trust in the property market, hoping that the land value alone will be worth a silly ammount of money.

    The Brits can actually pull off good organised events. The thing I don't like about this type of event is the millions and millions paid to consultancy firms for fcuk all.

    They can, they have in the past, the commonwealth games was one example, the 1999 rugby world cup another.
    But in this instance i feel somethign is missing, you are very right about what you say regarding consultancy firms, the logo is a classic example.
