Sadly I am, I have lost 250k in the last 4 weeks, but its only a loss if I sell. Been through it all before a couple of times. Time to sit back, relax and watch the shit hit the fan. The stocks will all come back eventually

What sector are you in or are you diversified? What are your major holdings right now? Luckily I got out of my fund when the Dow was at like 13975.

I will be starting my job in July then I will hopefully be able to buy some time in the near future. The Dow is almost down 300 points right now. How low do you guys think it will go?

That’s easier said than done! In times like these when you see your investments in a volatile state your first instinct is to pull out and sell.. For the past couple of days ive been down hundreds!
As a relatively new investor I am not used to this.. What are everyones thoughts/suggestions?? Try to remain patient and wait to see what happens or sell out when one cannot afford to lose anymore??

I'm glad the market is taking such a huge shit...Hopefully the dollar plummits and inflation becomes out of control. Then we can finally indicte the Federal Reserve Bank and all its members and shareholders and send them to jail for life. You know, at one time it was a crime punishable by death to intentionally debase the American currency, and I think with 7 million people close to losing their homes, that would be a fitting punishment for these individuals. Collusion, Conspiracy, Fraud, man the list of charges would be great....
Of coure when the dollar plummits, which I predict will happen within 2008, they will use this as a perfect catalyst to try and implement the Amero. My hopes are that before they offer such a solution, we can nail the Federal Reserve's ass to the ****ing wall and see all its members tucked away nicely in REAL Federal prisons.

First of all you can qualify for all kinds of government down payment assistance programs depending on your income plus a sellers concession can be used for closing costs and such... all you really need is to have a decent job.... somekind of assets be it a 401k IRA or just a savings or money market acct with a few thousand, decent credit and a good mortgage banker

Ya people are definately going out of business... you just have to roll with the punches and find a few good banks all my efforts also directed at Fannie mae loans as they are the only thing worth any of your time in todays market... but I'm doing ok..... been able to generate much larger loans... on average 350-400k.... so even if I'm only doing 1-2 a month I make out pretty well...since my average gross is 3.2 points per loan
