    Coments on Rodger Clemens

I watched most of the hearings and too me it looked like a waste of the over site commissions time. They couldn't justify why they had any business there although many were trying. They basically had nothing of any substance on Clemens. The whole thing was stupid. I thought Clemens came out looking like a winner, but no doubt damage to his reputation has been done.

He said the trainer offered it to her, because she had intrest in the anti-aging benefits she had heard and read about. Yeah, she tried GH but she had complications from the injection the dude gave.

The whole thing is ridiculous, does congress really need to clean up athletics?

What a waste of our tax dollars.

I didn't see it that way, at the time they thought the guy was a doctor, and they trusted him. He did chiropractic adjustments on Rodger, Lidocaine injections and GH injections on his wife. It adds to the list of ways this guy was practicing medicine without a licenece.

5 hours in front of people wanting to throw you in jail would make you crap your pants, I think he did a great job with it.

If I was a betting man, I'd say Roger took it, and so do 75% of professional athletes in anysport. They can't even test for HGH so why wouldn't you do it? Bottom line is steroids saved baseball!!! Now they are all pissed about it. Jose Cansaco knows what he is talking about, and honestly you think the Mitchell report even hit the surface? All the players on it were only from 3 different teams.

It should be up to the MLB to use their own money to do investigations on their own athletes, not wasting our money.

Did anyone see anything good come out of the hearing? What I saw was a bunch of do nothing old men looking for some face time with the American public to look like they are earning a paycheck. One congress woman even said she didn't see the point to what they were doing, and for the past year they have been playing gottcha games, and that she wanted to get back to protecting the taxpayers from wasteful spending. Still others stood up and tried to defend what they were doing, I saw nothing good come out of it.

I agree and I feel really bad for Roger, they were grilling him so bad for something that in my mind is no big deal.

Do you think he cares about the money? He gives a good portion of his money to charity. His rep among fans is the most important thing to him I'm willing to bet.

fun to watch, but why did they do it when every single shred of evidence is back and forth. they had the hearing even before they tested the needles and gauze for dna. fun to watch, but served zero purpose.

They did it for a political gain in the future. And because the news networks needed something to play. Chances are the investigation committee got kickbacks from news outlets. Stuff like this gets prime $$$$ from advertisers.

oh and thye got money to run the investigation.

oh and every one will write a book.

if you write a book about it you'll get rich too.
