So as you are aware (or are now aware), steroid .com has a newsletter. Besides informing us about whats new on the site and with steroid.com (ie, the anabolic network etc), the newsletter has various other features such as featured members, most popular threads, heated topics of the month and so forth.

What do you guys think of this? What would you like to see covered in the newsletter?

Regarding the featured members, how do you feel about it? What do you think would qualify someone to be featured on the steroid.com newsletter? (helpfulness, presence, attitude, contributions to the board etc)

Lastly, do you have any suggestions for featured members or anything else you feel is important to add to the newsletter?

Think that the little scales in the top right corner of posts should be pointed out more.. this way peoples reputations would get boosted so an easy way to see who people find helpfull...

Maybe then break that down into membership levels (member, senior member, anabolic member, mods, vets etc) and have top 5 or 10 places for each level...

I think the news letter is a great idea. I really like the part of having featured members, my seggestion, for what it's worth, is to maybe have a couple catergories, like best thread or post of the week in terms of helpfulness or research oriented. Maybe new member of the week and also lets not forget pics pics pics. I love see progress pics, they really get us motivated and it's always nice to see someone metamorphis into a greek god.

Possible to have a "New members section" which will have some sticky threads in it in regards to Basic cycle advice, PCT's and how to do them, as well as Diet advice{most stressed} This could be helpful to all new members who sign up and get this newsletter which will guide them into important areas of the site.

I do like the idea of having most helpful members of the month or something to that effect. Or best thread of the month.

Also, any new activies that may be going on (ie. Muscle evolution magazine) Or the anabolic network updates. Could also have a link for people to submit some info for the magazine and maybe best info submitted could be placed in the magazine with their username.

I dunno, just some ideas off the top of my head.

definitely hit on the reputations, helpful threads. and maybe a link to an "ancient gold" thread, that helped many out, that hasn't been bumped in some time. its hard to find the quality threads that are no longer bumped in existence. helpful members, and where they contribute. and i agree about the newbie thread, and maybe an experienced member profile. of course... shout outs to those who have helped a lot the past month.

newsletter sounds awesome... I second nova's input on that part...

also, about the pics or maybe a transformation of the quarter.... get a link to a log with someones work from start to finish or whatever....that gives a lot of folks motivation on here and it actually takes them a lot to post their log and pics...
