    I agree with you..

The mistake was made when the Bourbon Democrats lost control of the democratic party back in the early 1900s..

and from that point on the PROGRESSIVES took over.. they changed financial policy.. first by taking us off the GOLD standard, and onto a SILVER/GOLD standard .. which led to inflation.. populist movement at the time.. to help farmers get out of debt..

This country was making incredible advances while on the Gold standard of the late 1800s and life was good, we had deflation and peace, but the populists started us on an never-ending spiral of BIG GOVT and INFLATION.

    anyways..
    that eventually led to
Woodrow Wilson setting up the Federal Reserve.. and the eventual proccess of getting of the gold standard completely..

FDR later with the NEW DEALS.. took us even further away from a NATION OF FREE MEN..

than a lot of the Democrats defected to the Republican party.. and created the NEO-CONS!
who are just as bad as the democrats themselves..

    ------------------

I agree with you wholeheartedly bro..
We Need to correct this thru small steps...

but going OBAMA.. HILLARY and Universal healthcare.. is going in the wrong direction....

I believe McCain although not originally has over time become a NEO-CON..

which makes his a shitty candidate..

but he is still about keeping the GWB Tax Cuts in place...
    and cutting spending...
    His War stance is problematic..
but winning the war is still better than losing it..

god you had me until the last part....we have already lost the war and can never win it. we cannot outlast insugents in their own country, you seem to have a grasp on history, so you should know this is a lost war.....even though Bush declared victory in like 2004 or something LMAO

Thats quite funny my friend....as you are now spokesman for all Muslims, I suggest you inform them that as they all no longer "identify themselves with their countries" that they stop with all that unnecessary borders and government stuff they do in Iran, Syria, Suadi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan etc....Hell while you are it just tell the Palestinians not to bother dying every day for their land.

The fact that you say you are not white should give you insight into how destructive a label can be. When that label is used in conservative societies to create unfounded fear, uncertainty and doubt purly because the label represents a different skin color or a different religion, we are taking huge steps back into the past. A very slippery slope.

thats the Neo-cons agenda, not a real conservatives..
but you said, things are not going to change overnight.
it is going to be baby steps..

there are bigger issues at stake at home, with domestic policy..

our foreign policy might grab more headlines and attention worldwide, but the real change is going to happen from within.. cause that effects us more..

    CUT SPENDING, CUT TAXATION,
    ECONOMY overall is good..
but we need our FINANCIAL FREEDOM back..

More than Half our income goes to the government.
    Taxation on Gasoline
    Taxation on Cigarettes
    Taxation on our Income
    Taxation for FAILED social Security
    + many more
    stupid gov't fee's
it not just us, its the corporations too
look at your cell phone bill, and look at the gov't fees and taxes just on that
and thats the tip of the iceberg..

the democrats and neo-cons woudlnt mind putting a tax on the internet, on your coffee, on your air-intake..

We already have speeding tickets, and parking tickets..
Instead of throwing you in jail they'll give u a large FINE instead..
they like that better, it is more money in their pocket,, and hopefully by you being out on the streets, u commit another crime, and they'll charge you another FINE too..

THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE OUR GOVT EMPLOYEES IS RIDICULOUS.

These people are working in services that we as a nation overall do not need.. a lot of these services actually cost us money, cause they're TAXATION SERVICES!!!

These people would be better utilized in the private sector, because the private sector tailors itself to citizen needs...

that would = more thing we really want and need.
and smaller govt = more money left over for the citizens, to spend on those things we really want and need..

which naturally would stimulate business even further..
and the end result is a nation better tailored to its fellow businessman (citizens) needs..

people need to think more freely. business and entrepreneurship is good.
Society (socialists blah) brainwashes people that it is bad, it is sickening!

Young people who are Dependant on their parents are really susceptible to this brainwashing tactic imo.. it feels to them like a natural extension of parenting.. yah now instead of parents and teachers we got the govt to rule over us..

Schools should be teaching more individualism, and how to barber and make good deals, and things like that instead.. Thats a real skilset which will lead to freedom and individuality.

Excuse me now,, I need my shots.

what case does that make? nearly every athlete at nearly every athletic event that i've ever seen doesn't put their hand over their heart. Many people in the military put a hard to their head instead of over their heart. make a case.

Geezuz Pooks...are you sure you are not a professional politician?
If you take your posts in this thread you could probably publish a reasonable sized book on political science.

    You are hurting my head

    i am with obama.
People say that, but the average doctors salary here in the UK where we have universal healthcare is £100,000 ($200,000) and many earn $500,000.

yah but isn't London possibly the most expensive city in the world to live in?

and also how much do u really take home.. after the gov't is done taking its take...

Someone could make 200,000 in one country
    and only 100,000 in another..

but if country A taxes u at 75% (gas tax, income, states, cigarette, sales tax, and other taxes that u arent even aware of)

and country B taxes u only 25% + does not tax on income gained from investments..

the person living in country B makes out much better, especially if he is well invested.

    ---
plus person B can still get health insurance if he wishes, or get medical treatments from wherever he wants if he chooses.
