I was listening to an inteview on the PBW radio show. They were talking to a former pro bodybuilder called Nasser. He says some pretty disturbing things about drug use in todays bodybuilding world. Here's the link to listen. http://www.probodybuildingweekly.com/player/replay.html

His name is Nasser El Sonbaty, I wouldn't take everything he says too seriously.

it doesn't fit the profile of usual spam, it's part of a new trend of "steeeroids are bad...mmmkay" spam.

So, of course we know mass drug abuse is rampant in the pro ranks of the IFBB.

However, in no way do they represent the average responsible steroid user. End of story.

Some would say that the average steroid user is LESS responsible.

Pro bodybuilders have more eyes on them, more people helping them, and magazines/supplement companies have a vested interest in keeping them alive. After all, if 3 of the top 10 O guy fall over one year, it's very bad for ticket sales come september.

However the guys who shoot up in their bathrooms with minimal input (other than strangers on boards) would tend to end up in more dangers spots, IMO.

So please tell me how using 5 grams or more of test stacked along with 4 other designer steroids a week is in any way moderate responsible use?

The average steroid user is not using nubain or any other recreational drugs alongside steroid use while alot of top tier IFBB are. I think you are wrong when one 1998 study on steroid users showed them to be the most educated drug users out of all users of controlled substances.(1) Another 2007 study found that 74% of non medical anabolic steroid users had secondary college degrees and more had completed college and less had failed to complete high school than is expected from the general populace.(2)

Making blanket statements that just because someone makes ticket sales and/or has backing from magazine and supplement companies doesn't prove a damn thing. And neither does making blanket statements about shooting steroids in a bathroom. How does doing it in a bathroom make anyone less educated on the matter than others? Next time, bring some valid references to prove your retarded claims before spewing a bunch of crap here, because nothing you said is of any validity due to no evidence to back up your claims.

Yes, I am sure there are lots. I'm not going to get into recreational drug talk as it's against the board rules, but I have known close to about 300 steroid users throughout my lifetime thus far (all in person, not counting people i've talked to on these forums) and of those, I would say a small amount did recreational drugs on a regular basis, if at all.
