Is this site goin downhill?!?!?!
Hey fellas-
Well for startes, I LOVE this place. I have only been registered for a little while, but I i've been a religious reader for over a year! It just seems lately that there seems to be more and more people leaving and less and less posts and stuff goin on..... Hell I am not bitching, and I still love comin around everyday, im just a little at the way things "seem" to be goin!

there are some people leaving bro but not cause of the board it self or anything like that ,just cause that they need to spend more personal time with the familly or something .the posts have been about the same .theres jsut alot of newbies that dont research or ask the same questions over and over without using the search button .but i guess everyones has to learn somehow .

Change is a funny thing. Some take change as a positive others see change as detrimental. As I go through life though one thing I can guarantee------change!! So take it as you will but I have always viewed change as a positive. For better or worse don't look back at the closed door. Just move forward to the open one and see what happens. If the vet bros go then others will replace them. That's the nature of change. This board is still the best I have viewed and I'm not going anywhere. There are still a lot of good bros here to gain knowledge from.

I have to admit that we have had some bad stuff going on, but nothing that will harm us in any way. We were down because of an ISP switch for one... two, the temp. server is as slow as mud (will be switched soon) and WE have let Banning and Other nonsence go to far. One thing is for sure to all that read this. We are a well established site with nothing but growth on our minds. And if we have bumps in the road... so be it. If one or two educated people leave... I swear.... 3-4 more will show up and be the leader. Hell.... we could lose 5000 members. 3000 is more than enough to have a good time. The board will only get bigger and the site will only get better. Stick with us....

alive and well in asia, nothing wrong with this board, I always say that people love controversy, sometimes its like a gossip club downhill??? depends what u come here for if u come for steroid , diet, training knowledge which is what we are about can you point out where we went downhill?. You know I used to say alot to people who moaned, and I will say it again here
if you see something bad rather than complaining about it waisting energy why dont you put something good into it that way making it better and using ur energy in a positive way

Is AR going downhill? Yes, well maybe at least temporarily...as ptbyJason stated in an earlier thread "there have been problems and some posts have been lost....and the server will be slow for a little while"...so it may seem like AR is going downhill, but truthfully we are still alive and kickin', it just doesn't seem that way...give it some, everything will be back to normal....or as normal as it could be

When guys leave because of personal issues, all it means is that you now have a chance to step up and help others from what you have learned. This board will get better and better all the time. Just give back to the community if you feel that the community gave to you.

Alive! ALIVE! All the way down here in the South....South Jersey, we love it!
I've been a member here for just a few months and I have it on at my office ALL DAMN DAY! At home most of the time. I know I have an addiction to BBing and AR. I have done any cycles YET, but I look for advice here all the time! I read and read and read, and maybe it's because I've been here for a while, but I seem to trust people here. I got to a couple other boards, where I've posted and it's like people have there nose up in the air toward a post. All I know is I felt lost with my AR down. Long Live AR! Viva La AR Viva La AR!

lets just keep one thing in mind here.......yes A.R. is alive and well. but its up to us to keep it that way.
ptbyjason and all the other bros who had a hand in getting us back up and running deserve huge props for all they've done. but we can do our part by following what ever rules are layed out here, and by treating each other with some respect.
theres a reason this board is as good as it is. lets keep it that way.

Save AR!
Ya know, like "Save Ferris!"
Anyhow, I do love this F!@#$%^ place!! I can't think of a day I haven't stopped by and checked out what was goin on. And when the site was down for almost a whole day I had to go over to some other boards just go get my fix!!! But I am glad I brought this up. It's not that I think this "place" is going downhill. But when users leave, for whatever reasons, then yea- it still affects the board. I just wanted to get some health convo. goin on this to point out what myself and some others might have notices...So ROCK ON AR!!

By the way guys... the reason that there are never more than a hundred people on line at any given time recently is that the sorry ass server will only allow 90 or so. otherwise... none of us would see anything. Also, an update. Monday the site will be faster than ever as we have just purchased a much better server than ever before. Thanks to all that posted here. We are a great board because of soo many members like yourselves!

Q: I lost my profile and over 100 posts - but still came back... even though I am back to scratch again. How come a db back up was not done prior to the switch? Do you think this can happen in the future? I hate to think I am posting shit that will just get deleted again... this server is slow and the faster one will be much easier to use.

just because the board is slowing down dosent mean its dying, just because the posts went from 300 a day to 5 post a day dosent matter, things get redundant, there is a search where just about any question can be answered.
it seems we have about 15 mods who dont come around anymore
Big Al, Billy Boy, Bouncer AKA bouncer, dane26, , Juice Junkie, kizer_soce, LewdTenant, Little Girl, Mike, Pete235, Ranger, RON, The Iron Game, The Original Jason, TNT, really dosent matter its the population of the board and the member who keep it alive.
who knows maybe it is going downhill

please read my posts..... it has been like this for the last week due to an ISP switch! that is the only reason. WE are on a temp. server. And the mod issue... is in other threads as well. Things will be different come next week...... untill then ..... its slow

by the way warrior... the reason you lost 100 posts is not because we didnt back it up (how can you explain the other 100,000 posts?) its because the people that I had AR with in the first place tried to blackmale us and wouldnt give AR back to me. We had to transfer it under there nose and piece not only this site back together but 3 others. This is a free forum and noone pays the bills around here but me. Please have a little respect guys. Its not easy keeping this site up with only a small handful of people to acually help./

this board kicks ass it better not be going down hill and i dont think it is .It sucks to lose people your use to but such is life .It's the same with people at work that you like and they go after a while . It's called change and everyone handles it diferently.
People do have lives outside of Ar and things happen .Well ok maybe i dont have a life but thats just me lol

It seems as though we have a lot of college students and so forth...with a new september and october coming along it seems as though many have left. I don't think this is the case......sooner or later they will become tired of turning over a new leaf of actually doing their homework and come back to AR
You guys have a great year and remember who got you huge

AR has enjoyed a rather large "growth spurt" over the last few months and I think some people just got over-whelmed.
Also, maybe we are getting fewer post because more people are finding their way to the search button.

Funny I thought I was here everyday. I've seen half of those others here too. The others I would agree on though.
As per the question at hand. HELL NO we are not going down hill. We are stronger than ever.
