The last good games console was the N64 (Mario 64, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, etc.... All games and consoles around that era and before were the best with consoles like the original PS1 with the FF series, Rez Evil, Tomb Raider. Now adays its all about style over content..

Back to what you were saying before, I liked both metroid and zelda too. A lot LOL. I don't know which I liked more. hell yeah, I played river raid for the intellevision and pitfall for atari. I used to like bump in jump for intellevision too.

Interesting. I haven't played (aside from a few games on nes emulators), since the ps1. Even with that, all I played was Madden, and one of the Mega Mans LOL, which was off the hook. Damn good game.

That damm game was IMPOSSIBLE to play (getting out of the holes was nearly impossible) and well... it sucked big time!

There were some pretty cool games on the 2600, I have to admit that for it's time it was a kick ass machine! TANK was cool, playing one on one was damm cool.

I also had a colecovision, I remember playing Donkey Kong and Zaxxon forever!

By the way if you liked the old school video games, make sure you watch "Code Monkeys" on G4! It's a hilarious comic (in the South Park vein) about the guys who made those games back in the 80's and there is even a spoof on the ET debaucle!

thats what i hate, all fps nowadays have no objectives or anything, its all linear.

the beauty of games like goldeneye and perfect dark was that you could actually fail missions if something blew up or you didnt use your gadgets properly, you never see that in games anymore, the 'objectives' are always just to kill everything and go forward.

I got a ps3.... just rented that turok game. friggin sucked. I woulda chucked my controller against the wall if they weren't $50. all you do in that game is die. had it for like 3 hours and took it back... Golden eye was the shit though!

Its better on PS3. Not that i play it coz i get so bored. But PS3 is nice. My Favourite game is Tekken... Ill open up a can of wipass on anyone!
