what would u do if some keep making stupid gestures at u after ignoring him several times? please help before i confront this guy and break his neck.

* Laugh it off.

* Get adept at comming back with the wise cracks while keeping a light and fun attitude about it (the best thing to do in my mind, but takes practice).

* Talk to them and tell them how you feel (sometimes works).

* Get mean (not my fav choice).

that's what one of my uncles did say, 'laugh it off." I have tried it many times but it never worked out. i guess one of these days i'm going to catch a case, believe me i'm sick of this idiot.

For some reason this thread reminds me of this comment.

I have been working intensively over the past several months. However I notice there is change in the way walk. I'm getting attention that's not there before. I think people are percive me as violent person or like a violent person? But at the same I could see they respect because they fear I may break their neck.
Has that ever happen to you? how did u adjust to person who u were?

That's a tough one because you could lose your job for fighting. There was an employee, from a union, that lost his job because he got in a fight with a contractor. It's hard to fire union employees so be careful.

Anyway you can confront him outside of the work area?

Keep going up the chain-of-command until you get results. If that doesn't work...find a place to confront the individual outside of the workplace. I don't mean that you have to assault him...just ask if if there is a problem. You can't let it eat you up or he will sense that weakness and keep digging. Some people are just douchebags who have nothing better to do.

If I gathered this right you work at a restuarant? If so, get your friends to come in that dont ever visit you at work at have them report to the manager that this guy is making insuinating gestures at you and they dont feel comfortable eating in an atmosphere like that. Enough complaints and theyll have to do something about it. Just make sure you get friends that never visit you. And if that dont work find where he lives and stab him in the throat.

i tried every thing u said chris, and i wished it had worked, unfortunate it was not but fortunately i have decision to make and i'm gonna get him in that way or another. thanks for tryinh to advise though.
