    I need a freezer, do you like this one?

    Im tired of going to the damn store every week, I need a freezer. Good size to hold a hundred or so pounds worth of beef, eh? Its only $180 at sam's club.

    You'll like the convenience of a deep freezer. I've got one a shade larger than that one (my neighbor and I usually split a side of beef a couple of times a year).
    One suggestion I will make is to keep a Sharpie/permanent marker at your freezer. It makes it a lot easier to keep the contents rotated out if you mark the date on the packs when you put them into the freezer.
    I keep mine down in my shop on a concrete floor, so defrosting it isn't a pain. You might want to keep the "manual defrost" in mind when you decide where to put your freezer.

    Thanks, AG. Those are good ideas. Im going to put it in my basement on a slab as well. I eat 3lbs of meat a day and this will help me a ton. I plan on going hunting this fall and I'll be happy that I will be able to keep most of my meat instead of giving it away because I dont have the room, lol.

    Couldnt go without ma deep freezer - defiantly a worth while investment!

    Good advice from AG about keeping a marker pen close to it to date when ya put things in!

    I would look at a bigger one. Mine is 12 cu. ft and it fills up a lot faster than you would think.
