I had a stiff neck, went to a chiropractor for 30 visits, until my insurance ran out (covered 30 chiro visits a year).
6 months later I went to an osteopath, and he fixed me up permanantly in just 2 visits.
Ya, go see the osteopath.

A DO and MD have almost identical training. A DO can do surgery, write prescription, etc. A DC...well......there are many who don't even consider them real doctors.

i am a DC. it doesnt matter if it is a DO or a DC. it matters weather the person is a good physician or not. i would go by reference from someone who has a similar condition to your.
the only thing i can tell you is this, all the pain killers in the world wont fix your shoulder.(i also am a fan of pain killers and anti inflamatories) the truth is the problem itself has to be diagnosed correctly and has to be addressed. first move IMO is an MRI.

If i was to get a mri could it do the back and shoulder's in one, ive had a x-ray on my both shoulders and they gave me one on my pelvis but they all came back clear. The physio seems to think that the back pain is there because i have a slight arch in my lower back and my pelvis is a little higher on the front but the pain has been there for 3 years.
