Parking In front of House

Need some advice!!! Just bought a house in a quite residential neighborhood on a dead end street. So I thought!!! On the left side of the house, on the street is a gate that leads out into a long path that takes you to the schools football,soccer,and baseball field. There is a no parking sign on one side of our driveway, but directly in front of my house there is not, and I guess it is legal to park there. Today there was a soccer game and getting out of my drive way was tight. There is a huge lot at the school down the road for parking, but people are lazy and take the short cut route and park in front of my house!!!
What would you do??? Would you be pissed?? It bothers me for some reason..
I started parking my cars out there, and wrote a letter to the town. I actually found out that the parking commissioner lives down the road. I asked a local police officer and he said that they can park there if there are no signs!!! I replied and said so if I buy a 500 dollar piece of crap car and park it in front of the parking commissioner's house every day and just pick it up at night, there is nothing that can be done, he said it was perfectly legal!! Someone come up with a good idea, I really don't want to look at beat old soccer moms while I'm looking out the window in the morning!!!!

put up a sign of your own...or have them towed...call a tow truck company and telll them they have been there overnight and you want it gone...

yeah, put a sign that says vehicles parked here will be towed at owners expense.

Yea I guess I could just buy a sign and put it up, just thought the town would be pissed, if it keeps people away though, then who cares

i work outta town alot and the last shift i was away for just about 45 days and when i pulled up to my townhouse some guy had parked in front of my garage...i just about lost it, they knoew i was gone and used it as personal space...so instead of parkin and finding them to move it i drove by, called the cops and tow truck and before they had a chance it was gone...cost em like 200 bucks to get it out....hahhaha...i moved outta that townhouse that weekend...
