look at the pipe. See what I mean? Very similar to the new GSXR 600 pipe...ugly trend!

ya i agree there not the best looking things. Buy the gsxr is not even close to as bad that is. Up close you can see its half the size. No matters any way the thing is gone in 6 month. I just dont want to do it now just in case she drops the bike.
My insurance will pay for the oem pipe at full cost. the is the price of a full after market system. So if she drops it on the pip ok.

lmao. I hate the '08 exhaust, I don't like the '07 much either. I spent a lot of time trying to find a good high mount exhaust for the '07 before I realized it just wasn't gonna happen.
I have the 600 and it's my first bike. 250's are a waste of time in my opinion. I took the MSF course prior to getting it and was generally fine after lowering it an inch and a half or so. Kinda wish I had gotten a 750 though. I rode a 1000cc Aprilia a few times and the difference blows my mind. Too big and powerful for me.
I reccommend the Powers Stuntworx race rails for new riders, if you go down they will save a lot more of your bike than sliders. Wish I woulda had them on when I lowsided when I first started out. I went out and bought them after a girl I know crashed at 80mph or so on the interstate and most of her bike was fine. Might wanna check 'em out for your girlfriend, Gsxxr.

Damm Gix, chicks on crotch rockets rule!!. Wish I knew you were in the market though, I have a 98 750 sitting in storage I would have given you. Needs some work but if you know bikes you could have done it. The valves are a little screwy and she wont snap and stand up. I grew tired of it when I got my Busa. I have a 1000 now though, not as bulky and I think the best all around crotch rocket. Have fun with your girl man

one of my biggest pet peeves is, you buy something new and the only thing people can say is something negative.

Nice bike, good luck with it.

Up date for you guys.
I have spent 2 days in a parking lot teaching her the correct way to ride. She spend about 4 to 5 hours total in the paring lot.
Yesterday was her first day on the streets. We went with 6 riding friends for over 3 hours.
She did great as was setting the packs pace the whole ride. And it ant like we took easy ass roads. Most of them tight twisty sob's.

Gsxxr I don't think I saw your pm, I also haven't been on here in a while =/
I've been riding for a year... I can't afford the insurance on my bike, the cheapest company wants $200/mo, might as well just buy a new bike if the insurance is the same as the payments... =(
How come you didn't have your woman take the MSF course? I think its worth it, especially not having to take the licensing test at the DMV...

I use to teach the course. So i have been training her text book style. I also feel she should pass the road test on her bike and dmv.
Who have you tried to get insurance from? Also were do you live. I may be able to help you out with that.
I pay for her bike 250 a year.

nice bike! nothing better than a brand new shiny to brighten the day.
what R&D team do you work for with suzuki? I do a lot with Kawasaki R&D as the riders I still train race for them. Building race motors was what put me through college and my riders haven't outgrown me yet so I still train them part time. I used to race, but I don't have the time with school and being at the hospital full time. I sitll practice stunting on occasion just to keep sharp for shows. www.terrehaters.com i don't think i've updated pics or vids on there forever, but there are a few links to some of the new stuff. i think it was updated last year and i've far from progressed.
Gixxerchick, what insurance are you trying to use? i pay 168$ a year full coverage with un-insured coverage for my 05 636. My 01 f4i stuntbike is dirt cheap, i only have liability on it.
i threw in a pic of me rocking some tight circles on Tony's 07 600rr.
