I hate DirectTV

Me and my wife bought quite a bit of land out in the country, and we can no longer get Time Warner. We are now stuck with DirectTV. Don't get me wrong, I love the channels, but all of those commercials saying "The picture is better than cable, and HD is so much better" is all B.S. And god forbid it rains out... like right now, it spends all of its time trying to acquire the stupid signal. Anyone else forced to suffer with DirectTV?

Bro go with dish...all you have to do is find a installer and find a FTA(Free to air ) receiver. You will get free tv for life ...pm me if you need more info. I am in Canada and I get Dishnetwork.

I have direct tv....Picture and quality is a ton better than time warner imo. picture going out never lasts more than 2-3 minutes with my experience.

Thats the common problem with satellite dishes. No matter which one you will get you will have the same issue.

we had directTV and now we switched to DISH. WAY better. sometimes on HD DVR we get glitches in the recordings though. ticks me off. if you call and bitch they will give you a month free sometimes

I had DirectTV for about 6 years...two of those were in the rocky mountains 9,000 feet up snow almost daily. The dish survived multiple blizzard without any problems. Maybe I was just lucky. I can only recall one time when it completely went out but that was the storm of 2003 when we had close to 8 feet of snow.

I have direct tv and thinks it ok. Cant beat the football package and they just added a ton of hd channels. I heard Fios is good but they don'e get all the games like direct tv..

I have had directv for 12 yrs and have tried all the local stuff and dish...directv with the nfl ticket does it for me.... cable around here sucks and dish doesn't have the direct ticket...

use to program and hack the cards for a long time....then i felt guilty and unethical and against my beliefs so i had to quit.... it was tempting to have all those channels and free porn... oh well, I guess I sleep better now.

I had the program to hack the cards too, lots of money in selling virgin cards too.

The only time and best time to watch DirectTV is when it rains, and when it rains it pours out here, and when it pours TV goes out.
