I have not seen it yet but I am in udder disbelief. According to IMDB, it is the number 1 movie of all time. WTF? How can it possibly be comparable to classics such as The Godfather, GoodFellas, Fight Club, Shawshank, The Professional, etc....I'm going to have to see for myself by imo, how the hell can it top the films mentioned above, off?

Good film, and believe the hype about Ledger, he was brilliant in this! Film a bit longer than I expected, it was well over 2 hours long...2 and a half hours long? The thing is, Ledgers acting is almost too good and made everyone else look a bit wooden. Christian Bale is normally brilliant but he's a bit cardboard in this, especially when he's Batman...i know he has to change his voice for the sake of protecting his identity but he sounds like a heavy breather! Anyways, nice twists and plot development and the action scenes were pretty bad ass.

I don't know D, Ledger was awesome. After seeing him in so many cheesey kid flicks I really did not go into it thinking to much. I was almost speehless at how well he did. I really believed it was some of the finest acting

Absolutely amazing film, DO NOT just watch it online you need to see it in theatres.
CNN already reported if the current trend continues Dark Knight will break every movie record and be the #1 grossing film in the history of US

He wont get an Academy Award. The Academy's really dont stick there dead people.... Its all about the hug and shake and well.... with all due respect to Heath, he wont be able to give the hug and shake. It would be something very unusual to see him get an Academy.

I did like it a lot... I would gave it a 4/5 stars. There were some parts that really didnt cut it IMO.

It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time and Ledger was awesome. Definitely see it on the big screen for the first time.

Awesome movie, I have to agreed... Ledger's performance was quite remarkable as the Joker... Also, I liked how the character of 'TwoFace' evolved throughout the movie... case in point, one of the finest movie I've seen so far that I will definitely will need to watch again at the theaters, as well as buy the BRdvd when it comes out to collect along with Batman Begins...

I don't think the movie is way overhyped... but not everybody is the same! Yeah, batman was a bit predictable... but did you pay attention to how the movie ended? If they follow on how the movie ended w/B, then it won't be the Batman we all grew up on... very interesting... It leaves a lot of room for discussion for a third installment, if it indeed, they plan on making another sequel.

Actually there will be a third part. When the contract was made that was one of the condictions in the contract that it was going ot be a trilogy. Just like Spider Man, Lord of The Rings, The Matrix, and X Men which the third part will be coming out sometime next year or 2010.

I do have to agree with you I liked the way they made two face come up, I would of never guessed he was going to be two face. I would like to see the penguin in the third part since that is the only other dark character that I can think of. what I really like about this new Batman is that it doesnt have the comic over fake movie look it looks 100% real drama action advanture kinda movie much better than all of the previous earlier ones.
