Food prices
The cost of food is getting ridiculous. I just went to pick up my steel cut oats, which have always been $0.99/lb before any bulk discount, and they rang up as $1.69/lb. WTF, a 70% price hike?!

In the UK its been pinned down to the "credit crunch".
Anyone with half a brain will know that is crap and has been leaked from the media by the government so they can blame the public for over spending fvcking up the economy. secondly they can blame the credit crunch for price hikes and say that the country is not in recession.... id imagine the US is something similar.

^ Yes, but here we blame it on rising fuel costs and a falling dollar.
