ive got respect for chris angel..he does some pretty incredible shit. illusions, sure..im not suggesting the guy can ****in fly or anything, but he does it well. david blaine deserves way more credit for the shit hes done tho. aside from the street magic shit with is on par with what chris angel does, he also does some crazy shit without trickery involved that bends the fabric of at least my reality. standing on a bucket at the edge of a building for 2 days? or on a platform like 10 stories high? chillin in ice for like a week or whatever it was...holding his breath for minutes...i dont care what you think about magicians that shit should impress anyone.

Yeh I agree, David Blaine understands the fact that when you do a trick it should at least be believable to a degree.
And I think the way he presents himself is a lot more like a magician should. He's got a quiet cool delivery to him.
Criss Angel acts like hes always trying to sell something that I don't wanna buy. He's like a dancing monkey, sure he has some skills, but he annoys me too much to care what they are.

A chick i was talking to was watching him last night I assume. So i googled him and learned that his great walking on water trick was fake feet he puts on. He kicks off his shoes while walking on water to say 'look the shoes aren't making me do this.' He might be a good illusionist but he has no paranormal abilities. Blaine is better IMO. Regardless, most of the card tricks Blaine uses are old school with his spin on them. Their talented in respect to how long it takes to master the tricks and make them believable. Blaine's stamina displays are my favorite of the two guys.

When you see people get killed in movies you know thats fake too. And thats entertainment.

He has taken magic and turned it into a complete joke for his own selfish needs. I'm not a magician, and I could care less about magic, but I wonder how many real magicians watch this guy and want to kill him for what hes doing.

Hes a person who makes a living off lying to people. He's not the only one in the world (ironically know dealers more honest then him), but he's one of very few who would have absolutely no life, no money, and no income if you took his ability to lie to people away. What he's doing is deception, not illusions. What he is is a POS, not a magician. So yeh, I hate the m/fkr, "entertainment" or w/e semantics you wanna throw at it.
