actually, i semi-retract that statement.

Sfter listening to witness account from the bus, as much as i firmly believe i would have attempted to do something, i could understand why the majority of people would naturally just get off the bus.

If you were a passenger on that bus, and actually took your time to think things through, it is likely that you would believe the victim was already dead, so why risk yourself saving a dead body.

But, ration i would imagine is rather scarce in that situation.

Not sure what my conclusion to this is, but, just that i can understand somewhat as to why nobody helped

whats fukked up is if it were in America wed definatly have a camera phone video of it from a passanger!!! garauntee it. but nobody did anything. Listen I thought about it and while it would have really freaked me out , there is a promise I made to myself on sep 11th 2001 that i will act when/if I see harm being done that I can do something to stop. You have to overcome fear all your life, it is just not a kin of fear you thought youd have to deal with, so phsycologically you have to give yourself some unknown fear insurance in a sense, know one day you may get cancer and fear death, or fear a huge rollercoasgter or plane ride or sky jump and leave room for the unexpected fears youll have to deal with.

I understand everybody saying that the civilians on the bus should have tried to disarm him and I agree....but at the same time it is very likely that at least one or two people are going to get slashed with that knife and that is what puts the real fear in people.

I also would have a hard time living with myself watching a man get stabbed 50-60 times....I mean think how long they would have to stand there and watch that.

added to this story, there was a guy in Greece just a few days after tha canadian incident who cut his girlfriends head off and walked around the street with it in his hands after he lost his job (apparently)
