Whorlando, fl!
Hey! Sooo I officially move to Orlando tomorrow. My biggest concern is finding a new gym, and I want to do it as soon as I get up there. Any suggestions? I live in the UCF area, right by the 417. (And know pretty much nothing about the area) HELP!

I am familiar with the area. I unfortunately cant recommend anything since I have never lived out there. I live out in west Orlando, near Universal.

I know nothing of Orlando, however, I can’t get enough of your avi.
You are ridiculously hot.

I live in Orlando, but I am currently in IRAQ, but planet fitness in Orlando is not that bad they don't really sound the alarm unless the "noise" is very loud. Everything is nice weights bikes....etc. I was on a budget so I had to go there. Well good luck!

im going to west campus Valencia , ucf when i am done as well. i workout at bally's. Its an ok place. It is kinda of a small gym. It has only one squat rack and only 3 stand alone bolted down benches which get crowded really easy. So it can get pretty annoying at times. See if any World's Gyms are near by. I have always been a fan of their gyms. I never had any of these problems at worlds like i do at bally's.

thanks for the help. I broke my laptop and haven't bought a new one yet so I got one already at LA Fitness I think waterford? is that the one off semoran? I have no idea about this area besides university, east colonial, how to get to west valencia, adam im going there too! but transferring to uf or fsu after, and I just found target yesterday haha, goldenrod? in st pete the streets are all numbers, its so confusing out here having to memorize all of these crazy street names.
but g you said you know the manager at la fitness or something like that? i talked to will and he said since he made a corp membership right before I called he could give me a huge discount... 74 sign up and 34.95 a month. I thought it sounded like a good deal. he said its normally like 200 something and 60 a month?

Bally's charged me 80 bucks to sign up and it included my first month. 36 dollars every month after.
Im familiar with that area. I dated a few UCF women. We go by street names pretty much. Seems everyone else uses numbers. I grew up here so it doesnt bother me.
To west valencia... Easiest explanation is i-4 west, turn right on kirkman north, 3 miles up on the left just past the walmart. that walmart is one of the busiest in America and prolly the most ghetto to lol. Where I live is really nice, but surrounded by ghetto. so we get the overflow traveling our neighborhoods. I had a gunbattle close by outside the other night.

Ya thats the same deal i got as well, looks like you didn't have to know anybody lol...... advantages of being a woman. The LA off of semoran i believe is howell branch. Then one in waterford is off Alafaya and i'll give you a heads up don't go to waterford LA its packed 24/7 you can't use anything but you can find out that for yourself if you so choose. If you need someone to workout w/ let me know my workout partner just moved to Miami so im solo again.

Im getting a CET(computer engineering technology) degree at Valencia. Ill have my MCSE when Im finished as well. Ill use that to get my foot in the door somewhere. Then finish my Bachelors at UCF. I plan to finish up my computer degree and get a minor in business . I want to get into IT management. Which is where the money is . Ill probably get a systems/network engineer or systems/network administrator job in the meantime. How about you?

Try and get a job at Lockheed Martin after you graduate. They pay really well and incredible benefits. It is just tough to get a interview. It's all about who you know. I was lucky and had a contract job there for a couple years. So i know people. It is just a matter of time now for me.
Ya non res sucks!! So much more expensive I just dropped 300 bucks for two books yesterday. I have to take a class called math in electronics. You might have to take it for engineering too. The book is $134!!
On size... their is a college called SCC in Sanford. I went there at one point. I think it is bigger than Valencia. Not by much though.

Theres a WOW by me at least every 10 miles. And advertisements for them like every 2 miles.. one right in front of Mickey D's which is just hilarious imo.
.. who the hells gonna finish a Big Mac then go join a gym.

No way, the ones by me in NJ are huge, and a lot of snobby upper class people. Friggn Bruce Springstein was here (Eatontown) working out last thurs. It was pretty cool.
And the Mcdonalds thing is so true lol.
Enjoy LA Fitness!
Can't even remember seeing one of those around here.

haven't been on i a while been super busy! the only smaller gyms in the area are orlando barbell and the steel mill power lifting gyms. Ya the LA's are huge, but the good thing is they are every where so no matter what side of town your own you can probably find one
