Im sick of all the hype of how god big name fighters are.. they are only living off reputation and Kimbo has the bigest rep in MMA.
In terms of how fighters like this end up when they meet a world class oponent, the only name i have to quote is "Michael Grant".... made big through publicity and speculation, only thing that is big come fight night is them getting knocked spark out!
Lets see him fight middle of the road fighters like Buzz Berry or Neil Grove.
Hes fought James Thompson but won in a controversial manner lets see him fight the other two who ARE bothin his class!

I was going to leave it now, but dont you find yourself asking why Kimbo is fighting a guy who got knocked out on his last outing?
Surely he should be matching up against the victor of that battle?
Further more the winner of that fight has lost twice in the last 9 months by TKO to Neil Grove so surely the natural progression for Kimbo is to fight Berry then Grove not shamrock?
Or is he going to fight Shamrock then Berry then Grove.... im sure this will take the best part of 12 months or so, by which time come Kimbo V Grove the only fighter that woudl have progressed from here is Grove...
I really think that because of things like this MMA is really going to suffer... i know for a fact that i wont be watching the Kimbo V Shamrock fight! I only wonder how many other MMA fans are feeling the same as I?
Kimbo in my book is a chump who will only take easy fights.... God help him when he steps up to the world stage and takes on a "in their prime" version of Shamrock or Tank let alone some of the superstars that are around nowadays, but in the mean time hes gonna get a nice big pay day from now till then.... whos the mug eh? not me coz id rather watch two dogs fvcking than watch him fight so pay per view will make zip out of me.

All this is out of Kimbo's hands bro, Shaw make's fights that are gonna put the most ass's in the seats. If Kimbo want's to be really tested he needs to go to a different org; but why should he when he is making alot of money fighting cans.
He's not a bad guy can't hate on him on a personal level, but as a fighter he has shown us nothing.

I am not putting down kimbo and damn sure aint got nothing to do with race, shamrock been out of his prime for several years now so we know or at least i do know how this fight will turn out,yes it will put asses in the seats for now but it wont be much longer and the popularity that mma enjoys will be way down because of crap fights like this is why boxing is way down from its peak popularity.

A couple of things. One is that all MMA fans should watch this fight just to help the sport survive and we need different organizations to make it so there can be more diversity in the sport and UFC is not the king and makes all the decisions. It is better for the fans and definitely better for the fighters to have other fighting leagues survive.
Number 2 is that this fight is not even on PPV so I don't know what you are talking about. It is going to be on CBS on Oct. 4th I think. So even if you don't want to watch the fight...at least turn it on and then go get on your computer or something so at least the ratings show that you are watching.

I know dude I was just saying Kimbo can't pick who he want's to fight. Gary Shaw picks them and chooses the one's that will make the most money even if they are dumb and senseless to the true MMA fans.
