    Oh man I may have F'd up

    I just booked a trip with my gf for Sept 26-Oct 1st. Orlando Florida (yes I go there 50x a year)

    Here's the problem, I booked it completely forgetting my sister is due to have her baby Sept 24th. And I am the godfather, and my family is CRAZY about this kid!! My parents are going to kick my ass if she goes into labor later than expected and I'm in FL when she has her child....shit what do I tell my parents if that happens haha

    Go and enjoy your trip. My wife and I have 3 kids and not one of them was born even close to when the doc stated the due date was.

    Yeah but we're talking a week late...would that be normal? It's exactly 1 week from the 24th (when she's expected) and Oct 1st (when I get home)
    I just googled it, only 4% of babies are actually born on their due date...so I could get away with 1 week

    Go on your trip and have a good time. Ask your parents to contact you if the baby is born while you're gone and send flowers. The baby will still be there when you get back.

    also she may have the baby the week before or 2 weeks after who really knows.... not many babies born on their due dates...
