Anyone like trance? Check out my new tracks! plzz
I do this every once and a while.
I'm thinking about starting to send out some of my tracks to labels because people have said I'm at that point.
My myspace page is still new, have nothing but my most recent tracks.
Psychotron your feedback is always welcome, if you still even log in lol.
2 are melodic trance, (Autumn Equinox & North Seas)
1 hard trance, (Type B Proto)
1 an attempt at a movie theme. (My Movie Theme)
If you're bored and like trance please check out Autumn Equinox (most recent) or North Seas. (second most recent) For anyone who remembers the older tracks I use to post here, I think these are huge improvements!

All sounds, melodies, and mastering are my work and noone else.

Club worthy indeed. I am a true techno-lover, too-- trance, dance and all in between. Your work shows a lot of promise! Do you have more?

Just to be on the safe side, you might at least temporarily remove that stuff from the web and seek the advice of an attorney who deals in copyright or intellectual property law or something. I'm willing to bet many a budding rap star has had their rhymes stolen, just as some of your beats may be, just sending demos off to labels. Advice from a pro couldn't hurt, anyway-- I'm certainly no expert. I do think you have something going here that is good enough to warrant protecting.

Yeh I just left a message in my buddies voice mail, if he tells me to shut it down then I gotta trust him because hes the only one I really trust in this business.
Plus downloading is disabled though I know the ways around it. (which will take a little time if people really want to)
I'll leave it up depending on what he says. Thanks! I really appreciate it.

If we don't like trance, do we have to check it out ?

Yeh Autumn Equinox was sort of my fairwell summer song.
I always get a bit depressed this time of year, weather starts getting colder, women stop wearing bikinis, classes start. So I wanted something a bit sad yet aggressive sounding & beautiful.
Music for me is always about a specific mind state, so glad to see some people can at least appreciate it. And even more exciting for people to really be engaged by it. Thanks!

Thanks gix & auss. And yeh I think since I have 2 decent tracks that are mainly more melody driven my next one is gonna be more groovy. Something dirty and thumping.

Nice track, I like
All I could think of is that token fat kid in the middle of the dance floor dancing by himself with glowsticks....LOL

Sounds awsome bro, I listen to trance and house more or less all day. I really like the north sea it fits my taste exactly!
Autum equinox is realy good from 1:50 and forward. Type B Proto reminds me alot of S.H.O.K.K in a good way.

cool cool, i actually just finished another track lol.
I think some points can be mixed better, but it starts off hard and bouncy.
Then when I did the main melody it actually came out a bit happy hardcorish, which was the style I had to mix the rest of the track to fit into.
The working title is "Banana Core" (don't ask) and it'll be up there too once its done compressing to mp3.
So any happy hardcore peeps can check it out.
Now I have to leave the studio and not come back for a while, my head is still bouncing.
edit: not putting that track up, still needs too much work.Last edited by Bojangles69; 08-30-2008 at 06:22 PM.

Thanks a lot guys, it gets me pumped up that a lot of people are saying I'm ready for a label, but finding a reputable one is no easy task.
I'm not doing any online royalty shares like di.fm. Even though a lot of indie artists think its cool they've built a multimillion dollar business from 7 years of giving artists no royalty shares at all, and now its literally only pennies per track.
I put "Banana Core" up today, I like the intro, and main melody, but the arp in the middle needs a different melody progression. Its just not really hooking like it should.

Great guys, thanks so much! Especially the people who don't even like trance, thats a huge compliment.
My friend who teaches music is meeting me with a DJ next fri who said he'll play it in his set but wants to meet me first. I can't imagine what its gonna feel like watching people actually dance to something that I made.
Its like something you dream about for years but never imagine you'll ever actually see.
So excited right now!
