network key code

I have wireless in my home. When they hooked it up the key code was saved on my laptop. Now my wife wants to connect and i have no idea what the key code is. I called the cable company and they couldnt tell me. Is there anyway to figure this out?

is it a wep passcode? there is a way to find it but good luck, your best bet is to go to command promont (windows key + "r" then type cmd and hit enter) and type in
ipconfig /all
and then look at the defualt gateway it should be something along the lines of 192.168.1.1
take the ip that is there and type it into your browser ie http://192.168.1.1 (note no www)
a pop should come up with user name and password, try the default as in admin admin, if that doesnt work use http://www.phenoelit-us.org/dpl/dpl.html or use google, and type in that hopefully that will let u gain access then you can delete you wep key, or change it, you will have to change it in your computer also and for wifes, if you need any help feel free to pm me, hope this helps
