Las Vegas guys, SEMA, NACE, help with room!!!

I havent been to vegas in years. I'm going to the sema/nace show in Nov. I need to know where is a good place to stay??

Is there transportation from the Stratosphere Tower to the convention center? This is where I'm thinking of staying.

Anyone who is familiar with the area, would you please send some suggestions.

    Thanks

Honestly just pick anywhere you get a good deal since where you stay isn't really all that important since you will want to see all different hotels and hot spots. Any big name place on the strip will do or even off the strip like the palms if you find a deal there. As far as transportation there are cabs at every hotel 24 hours a day by the front door to take you anywhere.

I have stayed at most of hotels in LV, and to me the Wynn Hotel is hands down the nicest and classiest hotel. The European pool is also a nice plus!!!! But anywhere You stay on the strip should be fine, its all comes downt to what you want, and how much you wanna spend

The Wynn was sweet, but kind of off the beaten path. I stayed in a nice room in the Flamingo. Not the classiest hotel of them all, but an unbeatable view of the strip, the Eiffel Tower at Paris and the Fountains at Bellagio (from my upper-level room in the Bally's-side front corner). Also has a monorail station in the hotel that'll take you straight to the convention center. The Monorail is the way to go. http://www.lvmonorail.com/ride/map/d...3Dmap-2008.pdf
