Bruxism and Excedrin
With regards to Muscle Protein metabolism.
Wow. I have really really bad Bruxism also been told I have fibermyalgia but never had an sleep tests to verify that. My Bruxism causes me to wake up with severe headaches / migraines in the morning. My neck and upper back become so stiff that I become nausiaus and sometimes vomit. I did some research and found out some people were having success with a special bite plate called NTI (it fits over your bottom front teeth and doesnt allow your back teeth to touch and therefore cant clench as hard) I broke 7 of these bite plates before my dentist sent to a special lab to have a special one made for me. I now saw that one down and have to have repaired once a month.
anyway the upper back knots and headaches are so frequent that I live on Excedrin Tension Headache. at the very least i take six a day, at the very least.
anyone have any suggestions?

hmm not really the subject matter of the forum, but interesting nonetheless.
Have you ever tried pinching your nose shut when you go to sleep? or plug it...
Also, you haven't tried any CNS depressants or muscle relaxers?

I figured it was not the right forum, however the topic of ibuprofen came up and anyway there alot of smart individuals on this forum so i thought i would give it a chance.
I take a cyclobenzaprine every night before i go to bed but not a muscle relaxer. I have a hard enough time getting them to keep giving me a script for the cyclobenzaprine.
I have never tried pinching my nose but that is just crazy enough that it might work.

Careful with the Exedrin. The acetaminophen can really damage your liver if you take it often and for too long. Look into getting Botux shots in your jaw (on the outside of your check, where the jawbone meets the skull). I did this a few times and it helped relax the jaw muscles and relieved a lot of head/jaw pain.
