I generally buy it because it is cold. No other reason really...I'm a man of convenience, and this meets my need when I'm at a gas station or out and about.

last time i checked its a little hard to get tap water when i'm out.. it can have whatever it wants in it, but bottled water definitely tastes better than most tap water, its much more convenient and doesn't cost all that much really

drink any bottle water with "reverse osmosis" and you are safe. stay away from the "spring" waters. they are generally straight from the ground with just a filter from here in Florida. for example dasani is made with reverse osmosis. the water that is not use for bottled water is used in the making of all coca cola products. so you pretty much know it is safe stuff.

For safety I only use bottled water when I am abroad..... which is most of the year! Why pay for bottled water in your home when it costs more than beer?

If you guys are just figuring this out... wow. Dasani and Aquafina is filtered tap water, and that has been public information for years.

Dasani is RO water. It's pure H2O.
Any RO (reverse osmosis) water is good for you. It removes all the contaminates.
And truth be told, bottled water doesn't have to adhere to the strict laws against contaminates that are in tap water. So technically it can be more contaminated.

I buy it just for the bottle, and use the bottle for like a month or 2...couple months later, spend 1.50 for a new one

Some areas across the united states the tap water is probably good. New York comes to mind as having great water. it really depends where you live. the government in florida spends little on keeping the waters clean here. florida has some of the worst water in the US. Whats funny is we sell the most spring water. Stick with Dasani or Aquafina who use filtered tap water using the Reverse Osmosis method and you dont have to worry about it.
