it's interesting alright, lol, and a win-win, since if you can't get out of the friend zone then you are still friends, and if you get stuck(doubtful with you) then you can just start showing interest in their friends and they will do a 180

i wouldnt say jerk is the right word, moreso just have the cocky confidence. jerkish even to a small degree can backfire

I am currently doing a pilot study on said effect, here is some of the literature I am currently reviewing.

Am J Public Health. 2008 Nov 13.

Objectives. We sought to learn what factors are associated with anal intercourse young adults. We examined demographic, behavioral, relationship context, attitudinal, substance use, and mental health correlates of recent heterosexual anal intercourse among young adults who reported engaging in recent unprotected sex. Methods. Among 1348 at-risk adolescents and young adults aged 15 to 21 years in 3 US cities, we assessed sexual risk behavior with each sexual partner in the past 90 days. Data were collected from 2000 to 2001. Results. Recent heterosexual anal intercourse was reported by 16% of respondents. Females who engaged in anal intercourse were more likely to be living with a sexual partner, to have had 2 or more partners, and to have experienced coerced intercourse. For males, only a sexual orientation other than heterosexual was a significant predictor of engaging in heterosexual anal intercourse. Conclusions. Our findings document the prevalence of heterosexual anal intercourse among young adults who had recent unprotected sex. Among females, the variables associated with anal intercourse relate to the context and power balance of sexual relationships. Different influences for males and females suggest different foci for interventions.

The American Journal of Public Health is an awesome journal to read even for those who are not into science. I read it as much as I can, it is a real eye opener on our society.

I say the best one and simple is, if you like her... then try giving her a kiss on second or third date. If she will reject, well... it will be for a reason. Sometimes she will even tell you right there if she sees you as a friend only or not.

Other than that, be yourself...

If you are gonna try to remember what to do or what not to do...then it will be so much that you will be thinking about it all the time and it definitely won't be natural! If you are an asshole, then this is who you are

Just my opinion.

Not all the girls will like that on the 1st date.

Second date tells you basically that she is interested for sure. But how interested? Well, you are going to find out!

If you do it on the 1st then you are risking that she might think you are too quick. I don't say it won't work on the 1st, but it is much safer and in my opinion better than right away.

I think it is much better to do it second time around... not all the girls are able to make up their minds right there the first time, same goes for guys.

Little time is always good.

i dont think that count as "the friend zone" if you slept with them previously.

i think definition of friend zone is, you make a move, and she tells you something along the lines of "i think of you as a friend" or "we're friends" and you get NoTHInG!!

ive slept with a couple girls that were my friends. in the end the friendships didnt seem to last afterwards....i tend to avoid doing that now. good friends are hard to find and if the sex ruins it, its kind of a shitty loss

Exactly how I feel. If you banged a chick or even kissed her in some instances, you're out of the friend zone and on good terms.
