test undecanoate tabs possibly??? Not terribly surprising test as we know gives an overall sense of well being...im just not sure about being cured after stopping...post cycle depression can be pretty common.....even in the case u mentioned above once test therapy is stopped i would think normal anxieties would return...

A symptom of low testosterone is depression. Like Jimmy said, test increases our sense of well being up to a certain point. However, if low testosterone is not the cause of the depression, then test may have a minimal impact, and is only treating the symptom rather then the cause. also im sure these are smaller doses then we use for bodybuilding. for me personally when my androgen levels are too high my anxiety is increased. and if estrogen too high. depression is increased.

I actually just posted another topic on this,

I took a adderall the other day and read a bunch of articles on depression and testosterone .

The symptoms are exactly alike, and they lack of test and depression go together, and they are the cause of each other.

So many good reads on it out there, but doctors have boxes and boxes of free anti-depressants from sales reps. How many doctors have run blood test to check hormone levels?

Is america suffering from depression and axiety due to lack of testosterone? Or the the depression the cause of the lack of testosterone?

If you are depressed, your test levels will be low.

If your test levels are low, you will be depressed.

    How do we treat it?

I know what I would want, I know what I think is better, but what would really be better and why is the question.

What are the positive and negative effects of bringing test levels to optimal in males and females? How soon does it start to work? What is the cost? What are the long term side effects?

What do we really even know about the long term side effects of drugs like cymbalta? That are new. they have a new, better anti-depressant every few years that is marketed, and pushed like a sales man selling secret potions in the 1800's on the streets. Instead of one man selling it in front of the gold exchange, millions of reps are paid 100k a year a lot of times to promote and ensure doctors are prescribing their drugs, taking them golfing, giving them gifts, winning them over the American way.

My doctor says the same thing. He says that test and thyroid are generic and there is no money to be made by big pharma thus no one pushes it.

I don't know, thyroid issues are just as problematic for men, but HRT is much more mainstream for women.
