Opinions - Interval Cycling Class for cardio
So a friend of mine teaches cycling.....and i've not been doing high intensity cardio in years past, but i think doing her class once a week would help in the leg shredding dept for sure.
What is anyone's opinion on this? She also teaches a jump rope class for cardio that could be badass. I just wanna get creative moreso than in the past with my cardio options for my contest prep here
negatives/positives?

I hear spin classes shed weight like crazy.
I am not sure though, it's something to think about.
It's fast/slow paced. Might work like interval sprints for cutting fat.....but seems like it could be so catabolic you could also risk burning some muscle.

Once a week is fine IMO, especially if you're on cycle

Is the girl teaching the class hot? Cause if you are cycling with a hard on, the lack of blood could result in further metabolizing of muscle!
I think you pace yourself too in most of the classes.....I can't imagine 1 day a week getting too bad.
I think Nick Cannon was doing it, and hell he's jacked bro.
