MMA fighter tests pos for steroids

I heard this last night on tv.
A well known MMA star recently tested positive for steroids . They didn't say who. Does any one know the name of the star?
This is the first I have heard of one of these guys testing pos and they don't mention who!

At least in baseball/football they say names and that they tested for a banned substance.....maybe there are no reprocutions for MMA guys testing pos so they don't say who??????

Chris Leben was spanked for steroids , but that was a couple months or so ago if memory serves, Sean Sherk was over a year ago if I'm not mistaken, they could be referring to several peeps.

Chris Leben is still on suspention for Winny
Shawn Sherk, Stephan Bonner, Hermes Franca
Josh Barnet has tested positve in the past as well
Bas Rutten has but you dont hear much about it
Keven 'The Moster' Randleman handed in dog urine for his sample
Antonio Silva has as well

I probably wouldn't be shocked because I heard in a drug class that about 90percent of steroid users have had SOME sort of an addictive past!
It's more like 100percent of the users I know though!
Hell I used to be a pothead myself!

Yeah, I agree. I never liked that guy. I think that he has serious mental issues he needs to deal with. I was laughin at him talkin to himself during that fight. That being said, I really like Sonnen, he fights in UFC 95 in feb.

Chael Sonnen, I would love to see him win the belt. However, Anderson Silva pretty much dominates that class. I have serious doubts about him losing in the near future

I've only been impressed with one guy against him. This guy did a flyingleg sweep and had him in a healhook. Silva was tapn before he hit the ground.
I don't think it has ever happened in a real MMA fight before or since!

The 185 weight class in the WEC is no longer there. Zuffa owns the WEC and they have closed many of the weight classes and moved the elite fighters to the UFC.

As for Antonio, doesn't he have some weird growth hormone thing? I know Antonio and Sherk's positive tests were done by the CSAC which has come under fire recently for poor testing practices.

Add to that list Pawel Nastula, Ken Shamrock, Kirill Sidelnikov, Royce, Kimo, Vitor(as someone mentioned), Phil Baroni and everyone who ever fought in Pride(kidding, ofcourse)

Alves, Randleman, Kerr and Marquardt have never technically tested positive but are on the sketchy list.

Also, I'm pretty sure Paulo Filho tested for rec drugs as well, but I'm not positive. Plus you have guys like Nick Diaz and Melvin Guillard testing positive for mary jane and cocaine, respectively.

Some of the guys its just so damn obvious. You dont get a physique like Randleman or Lesnar without gear, especially considering the amount of cardio they all do. Test suspension = the tested athletes best friend.
