I dunno, there are black guys right out of Africa, or who's ancestry is within 4 generations of having come from Africa, who’s ancestors were never subjected to eugenics, who still have great structure, and get cut and huge easily enough.

I tend to think that the African environment itself led to lots of it. Africa is very hot. Therefor, no need to hold heavy amounts of fat.

Then you look at the animals in Africa, they are either big and dangerous, or poisonous. None can be easily domesticated, so all physical work has to bone done by humans. This could easily explain why black people tend to gain muscle fast too.

You mean like Kenyans, Ethiopians, Somalians, and Rwandans?

Yep.

Keep in mind that in their home country they are starving half the time.

I knew a guy in the Army who was Kenyan, from Kenya, and his parents moved to the USA in the 1980s.

He was jacked, did not even work out besides just Army PT, with regular average military food.

Their is a alot of variables. YOu dont see many asians with good genes. You do see a high occurance of black guys with awesome genes. Markus ruhls and jay cutlers do exist too.

Evolution my friend... Look at eskimos, they tend to be smaller and more husky. WHY? They live in colder environments. Look at the africans, i understand they are starving and what not but they tend to be much less fat because of the temperature they live in.

In before lock...but before I does, I just want to say that Africa is an entire continant with loads of different genetic makeups. The majority of blacks in this country, the caribbean, and S. America are descendants from sub-saharan west and southern africa. If you look at those Africans you will see they are large, heavily muscled peoples. East Africans tend to be much smaller.

I'm going to find the study that states that descendants of the above mentioned parts of africa carry more lean muscle mass than other races.

As for the World's Strongest Man competition, as a amatuer strongman myself (and I believe this has been discussed before), the reason for European dominance has nothing to do with race but rather participation. Most very large, strong, kids in the US play football. There isn't much for big guys to do in Europe. Remember Soccer is the most popular sport worldwide but definately not a sport for us big guys.

Imagine if Ray Lewis, Jevon Kearse, Julius Peppers, Lawrence Taylor, Larry Allen, Brian Urlacher (I know he isn't black but...)etc., didn't play football, do you think the Europeans would still be dominant. Remember Strongman is a very expensive sport to undertake, football and basketball aren't. Plus strongman doesn't pay for school.

FYI, the Europeans are slowly losing their dominance. Derrick Poundstone and others are slowly establishing USA dominance again.
