Any A.O.G. Church goers on here?

I attend regulaly and Am a member of an Assembly Of God church. We only have about 100 members.
I have questions about your church and the people that attend.

I am Cathlic and I did not go today...I seam to only go when I need help...well over 1,000 members, but all walks of life to the rich to the poor. Alway put out a positive spin on life...have been to several other churches but just kept coming back.....to the Cathlic church

I use curse words,have an occasional drink and get angry easy! Those are just a few. The only thing to do is try to be a better man every day!

I went to a UFC party last night and before the gsp and bj fight I was talking in tongues.......and this morning I felt like hell so maybe thats gods way of saying dont drink so much stupid....lol

I'm not religious per se, but I always find it humorous when religious people are branded as brain washed.

As if 'being religious' is synonymous with 'loss of intellect and rationality'

Exactly. There are just as many intellectually bankrupt and irrational people who are opposed to religions altogether. Yeah, there are intelligent atheists/agnostics out there, but there are also intelligent theists...it has no bearing on a person's intellect.

lol... funny stuff... just for the record the bible says not to be a drunkard, yes... but what is a drunkard? it is some one who drinks and does stupid stuff, loosed respect exc....

the bible says not to drink (strong drink) for pastors, decons and such... so for the normal person/sinner we can drink in moderation- you will never hear that from the pulpit - however, i will debate that and win with any pastor, father or what ever you call the guy at the podium...

as for the aog... good stuff - as far as churches go in general a good bible teaching curch is the way to go (sorry cathlicks (pedfile joke) you guys dont teach the bible per se, you get tradition and wine or is it blood? i forget)

any ways - the massage today was about patience ... God has/had it with israel, and now with sinners/gentiles and the church - we need to have it waiting for the return of Christ (and it is coming soon )

as for vodka - go to a good polish church sit in the back and say "hey bud masz jakiekolwiek wódki?" my wife is polish
