Cool, thanks for the link. The far right seems to have some viewpoints that are way out in left field, and I can't really wrap my mind around them. Using religion as an argument for political and social policy just seems retarded. "Well the bible says..."

That being said, I identify most with the Libertarian party than anything else.

Well, that's the strangest thing about it though. They are supposedly conservative Christians but they act so un-Christianlike. The Christian religion teaches to love your enemy, turn the other cheek, etc. I hear religious Christians say "what would Jesus do", and I do not think that Jesus [as] would advocate torture, the sticking of electrodes on a man's genitals, sicking dogs on them, etc.

So these neo-cons are not a good representative of Christians. They are like the Muslim extremists, who think they are so religious but flout the very religion whose name they invoke. And both sides constantly invoke the other to stay alive. They feed off of each other. I say we take all the extremists on both sides and throw them off a cliff.

We need to build bridges through interfaith dialogue.

FYI - I hate the socialist liberals, and I disagree with many of Sean Hannity's points. Arguing public policy using one specific religion is just retarded, because not everyone is the same religion. Let's dictate public policy by everything that's in the Koran, or the satanic bible!

Although I am very opposed to Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly, I wouldn't say they are stupid or idiotic. They are smart guys, just horribly biased and bigoted, and in that bias they twist the truth, suppress the other side's views, carry out strawman debates, etc.

But again, I wouldn't say they are stupid. Not all bigots are stupid.

Well, I didn't see the interview, but I mean, he did do a masters at Harvard I believe. I wouldn't call anyone who studies at Harvard to be stupid. Extremely misguided? Yes. Big mouth? Yes. Talks about things he has no idea about? Yep.
