Considering purchasing a safe

If on the chance that my house had a warrant to be searched, doesnt the warrant have to be very specific about where and what it intends to find?

If, for instance, I have my gear locked in a safe and a search warrant is approved on my home, will the safe be off limits to the search?

hmmmm thats a good question. if the safe is in your house, I would think that would be covered in the warrant. but it could be a matter of what your town or city ordinance is on that kind of thing

yes a search warrant does include you safe and anything inside the house on the property to include any vehicles parked on the property..

they can go in there if they have reason to. like if they hear you are keeping 5 pounds of coke in your safe, you can't be like "oh its in my safe so you can't get me"

depends on the warrant. if u get a safe, u must, and i repeat u must bolt the safe to the floor. it must be a secured fixture which will require them to get a seperate warrant to enter.
best bet, get a wall safe or a ground safe in closet, they will never know...

if u need a safe, let me no, thats what i do, provide safes and minibars for hotels...

Unless you are storing a good amount of gear, they probably are not going to kick in your door to bust you.

Though, I did recently have a tenant at a property I own get his door kicked in. They found no drugs, but they did find drug parifinila (A bong).

ya im having my little bro (my room mate) watch that vido jiggaman posted. He needs to know it if he knows AAS are under his roof. I told him no matter what happens to not incriminate himself by admitting to any knowledge at all. I told him to maintain that he has never seen any steroids . Never heard me talk about steroids, or under any circumstance ever seen or heard me talk about steroid use . etc etc. Just to keep him safe. just worries me. he's 19 and might not stand up to a cop the way his rights allow him to. i never have more gear in my house than im going to run on a specific cycle and its in a place that is accessible to anyone (ie. not a safe.) I believe this gives me the ability to say it isnt mine under the premise that i didnt have sole access to it.

well if the safe is bolted and they cant remove it they might have to get a warrant for the safe or have to find someone who cracks safes since you dont have open it for them. By the time they do this you should be able to remove the gear from the safe ..

it may as well be in a shoe box legally. Being in a safe won't do anything but keep your family out of it. My advice is to keep evrything illegal in a differnt spot than your pins and stuff. Keep b12 and grapeseed oil with your pins, swabs, research chems. Let them find that then when they freak out be like 'what none of that shit is illegal is it?' THey never look for another stash. BTW I keep my gear in my suit coat pockets away from my 'kit'. I could be kidding myself but that is what I do.

I can get into any safe. I can pick a Master Combo lock up and in three nimutes tell you the combonation. Seriuosly. All skills I have left for show and tell now though.

In all honesty I think that it is highly unlikely that any of us "small time" users would be in a situation like that. I think if you move a high volume and provide others with gear then you are definately increasing your chances. If my house got raided I would be more worried about them taking my computer and finding enormous amounts of porn along with the rediculous shit I write on this website.

The warrant must specify the place to be searched and the thing sought. If the thing sought could be found in a safe, then the warrant by its very terms allows the search to include a locked safe, so long as that safe is found at the specific address covered by the warrant.

If they're looking for a baseball bat used in a murder, it would be tough for them to have cause to search your safe. If they're looking for gear, yeah, it's likely to be in the safe so no problem.

If you don't give them the code, they'll just drill it.
