Rabbits don't lay eggs
I had to actually explain this to a woman today.
Conversation started when I overheard her asking for "rabbit eggs".
So I say "I'm sorry, but rabbits don't lay eggs"
Her: (laughs) "I'm aware we don't eat rabbit eggs, but I'm pretty sure they can make them ("can" I guess if they try hard enough was her point )
Me: "No, I'm sorry again but they're actually mammals.. and mammals, like humans, don't lay eggs"
Her: "But birds lay eggs and they're mammals so that can't be"
Me: (actually stumped for a second) "No wait, I'm pretty sure a bird is not a mammal, mammals have hair, birds dont, I think that makes them birds and not mammals"
Her: (laughs again now more embarrassed) "Well I'm still not sure.. blah blah"
Me: "Well all I can tell you is a rabbit makes eggs as much as a chicken makes milk, which is never".
random small talk follows conversation ends
I mean I can understand Easter confusing people but seriously, I thought we learned this shit in first grade.

Rabbit eggs.
Some people are too stupid to let live. Too bad you didn't have one on hand to kill so you could hand her the bloody ovaries and say "Happy Easter!"

flies lay eggs on a rabbit, the eggs then hatch into maggots, which then eat into the living flesh of the rabbit.

Yeh I thought you werent cool with me which is why I was still avoiding it.
I've only held a grudge here against one person and it was actually one of the most liked people on these forums till he left (swolecat when he suspended me and in the reason put "just because I don't like you") Thats one thing that genuinely got me heated.
But we are def cool.
I prob still wont be in there though just wayy too many emotions going on.

I hadda actually google "do platypus's lay eggs?", fvcking astonished.. if I see a bunny tommorow I'm gonna find the biggest rock I can to throw at the little lying mfkr.
Then I'm gonna go smack a scientist around for classifying platypusses as mammals.. all a sudden it feels like the whole world is a lie.

No lmao.
It was the ears that threw me off. Anytime I see a bunny their ears are perked up perfectly straight.
+ the hair is pretty long (use to rabbits with short hair) and the head looks flat (which is prob from whatever hit him)
For some reason when I saw it the last thing it looked like to me was a rabbit, but yeh now I see it lol
