Background check

Does anybody know what site is legitimate & accurate to use for background checks for employment purposes, My cousin has a felony from 18yrs ago and he wants to do a search on himself, but doesn't know what one to use. I can't help him on this one cuz i've only done people search's before.

I know in texas the DPS site has them for a fee.

He's in Pennsylvania and the DOT(aka DPS) only offers driving records in pa.

sounds liek he knows what he did, it will be there always, depending on the felony some jobs cannot access it (if its expunged or juvenile). why would he need to do a search?

It's for drugs and he was 18 or 19yrs old at the time, He wants to do a search out of curiosity to see how it shows up and what the employer will see.

he could get that expunged i bellieve, which would entail most employers not seeing it. unless its gov't or LE hell more than likely not have a shot. does he know about expungement?

umm... i would get in contact with the county court clerk or the court house which has his files stored.. and you may be able to i know kin my state you can for certain offenses.. i believe this one over a period of time.. which it has been can be

That's gonna be a tough one cuz he lived in indiana at the time and he's in pa now. But thanks for the info.

fellony convictions never go away. it will definitely come up on a background check.

very very hard to get a felony expunged. definitely need a lawyer, and it will cost a fortune if it works at all.
