Agreed. I'm glad someone else pointed this out. This joke is making fun of the illogical reasoning that is used by gay marriage opponents.

I'd go for civil union as an option for hetero couples also who wish not to feed the religious fire. I'd do it just to prove a point about the abuse of the word, as long as I recieved the same benefits.

Gay people deserve to be just as miserable as heteros. Let them get hitched!!!

i dont think so... i got that in a email from a group in ny, and they fight the state govt to protest the marriage of same sex people... the org is headed up by a very respected reverend and activist for christian rights.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans

gay marriage is ok i guess.....as long as you're not black or a jew.

(i think there is a good south park episode about this. i love the way they kind of devalue both sides of the argument and find a decent middle ground. )

i think there are good parts in the bible about this along the lines of being careful to not "judge others" and "make love your highest goal" ... "live hope" etc.

watched enough crime investigations to look at the "who benefits from this action" line of thinking. so who is benefiting from this? really think hard.. i can't see why someone would want to burn calories fighting gay marriage.

i like the "groups of people are like breeds of dogs" type of argument. if you think about it "stereo types" usually stick for a reason. there is atleast an ounce of truth in the "white guys can't jump"..."asians are good at math" and "black guys have big dorks". don't get me wrong people are unique and all that bullshit but since you don't have the time to personally get to know everyone...generalize but keep your mind open. accept and don't deny the differences between us all. so if gays are a more "docile" breed of human then why the **** not breed more? send them over to clean up the shit hole 3rd world country we border, or move on in on an arab country and settle those assholes down. diverse cultures through out history, have proven to be the most influential/productive. and the downfall has proven to be not so much an action but a national type conscience filled with pride/arrogance. not man action. not against gay marriage but since i didnt vote anyway that means i voted against it. point being though i don't understand why people don't just move if the laws suck. Oregon law was irritating as all get out, life is short get what you want. ****ing oregon..they have an income tax instead of a sales tax so i moved to washington and bam no more state 8% out of my check. i'm a lot happier.

one of my favorite bands is Man Man. check them out if you get a chance.

oh and i'm straight and to prove it my favorite porn is "A River Runs Through Tits"

in summary:being gay= less competition for me which is good. gays are from my experience a more "docile" breed of human... i like the band man man...and i have almost no problem with jews.

besides being anti religion, I lose respect for religious type for reasons like this.. I don't give a shit what the bible says, If religion wasn't complete BS and "god" in the way they perceive it was real, I'm sure he wouldn't be too happy with a bunch of assholes running around trying to keep 2 people in love from being happy and doing what they feel is right. life is about being happy, being in love brings happiness, why take that away from someone? personally i think most religious type that think this way and keep fighting to ban gay marrige are a bunch of ignorant assholes. after all, "god" created them, remember? shouldn't he accept the way he made them?? what the hell gives these people the right to tell others how to live they're life? if your SO sure that god wants gays not to get married, leave it to GOD to judge, get a life, and leave these people the fukk alone

this is one thing that get to me, I have a brother in law that is gay and he lives with his partner and has been for 17 years, other then my mom and dad, this is the longest relationship I know of, the government nor the church should tell people what the fuvk to do when it comes to love, I have not posted in this thread because this topic piss me the fuvk off they get none of the benefits and are eduicated and hard workers......
