Anyone into designer sunglasses?
I just ordered a nice pair at a decent price. Theres a big difference between a pair of oakleys and a pair of versaces, imo. To each there own, everyone has different styles.

I've bought three pairs of designer sunglasses. They were all about two years apart.
Here's my thought process "Yeah, I like em, chicks dig em, and i've got money to buy toys." Then I smashed the first pair drunk on my boat fishing.
Two years later "Same thoughts as before, but I'll be careful and not wear these when I'm drunk" I didn't wear them drunk, I just knocked them off my dresser on my way to bed drunk, and stepped on them.
Two years later. "Screw it, I want em, and I'll take care of them." I went to the Steeplechase race in nashville, had some chick hounding me to remove my shirt...and I complied. In the process I forgot about the glasses on top of my head, and they are in some drunk lucky person's posession now, as I didn't even notice them missing from the top of my head for a few hours.
So no, I don't like designer sunglasses.

Why the hell would anyone spend that much on sunglasses, I bought mine for $15, been proven to block just as much UVB/UVA rays and shit just as good as the $300 ones. Plus they look just as good. I figure there would be better things to spend that amount of cash on. But hey to each there own. If thats what u like then thats what u like.

Thats like asking "why would someone buy Ed Hardy shirts/Ralph Lauren/Locaste/Burberry/etc."
It's all about style man, I mean girls care just as much as your style as they do about your muscles, maybe even more so. Your apperance is important, and a good pair of sunglasses can def. add to your style and apperance. Especially when you live down here in Florida where guys and girls take designer clothes seriously.

I find that my sunglasses have an average lifespan of about 3 months before they are broken. I've resorted to buying $10 "aviators" at walmart. I don't accessorize that much and am not that materialistic. although as i make more money and get older, i find myself indulging in the finer things in life that I typically wouldn't. Especially with the influence of my girl who loves designer shit.

HAH! Florida takes designer clothes as serious as a newborn baby would...... compared to New Jersey (near NYC) LMAO! I hear yah tho..... I love armani clothes..... i have a ton of armani shirts and jeans.... Some of my favorite shirts tho were from GUESS..... funny thing happened..... all 3 GUESS shirts that i absolutely LOVE are either missing or have huge holes in them..... all things point to the wife......
I don't invest in sunglasses LOL.... i like the designer ones..... found a $380 pair of gucci's that i loved..... but there isn't a snowball's chance in hell i'll pay that much for them LOL. I just buy cheap knockoffs..... they look the same and the bitches don't ask

I am living in FL too. I think the weather has something to do with the fact that people are into designer clothing. It also depends on what part of FL you're from. If you take a stroll down the art district in Miami, you'll see exactly what is described above, designer everything.
However, I am on the gulf coast, and man... it's so hot and humid here during the summer months, if I wear nice clothes it has to be out to dinner or bar or someplace airconditioned. Forget walking around daily in designer shit, I'll just sweat through it.
