    It's BBQ time

The weather is awesome outside, and there is nothing better than having a nice BBQ dinner. My wife bought me a new Webber and I've been cooking everyday on it on the deck.

I love steak kabobs and bbq chicken.

What's everyone's favorite bbq food, and anyone have some good recipes?

I've been cooking beer can chicken, only instead of a can of beer I try other juices. Orange juice is really nice in it, makes it sweet.

Incase anyone doesn't know what beer can chicken is, you take a whole chicken and basically stick a open can of beer up it's butt. Then cook it over the bbq or fire. The beer evaporates and fills the chicken with a slight beer flavour, it also keeps the chicken really moist too.

    Delicous!

During the summer I cook everything on the grill. Even veggies. Just wrap them up in foil with a little olive oil.

Churrasco (skirt steak) - a latino specialty

season steak while at room temp with rock salt only (can also add some lime)...grill on med heat for about 8 minutes on each side to give you a medium finish

+/- 2 minutes on each side for well or med rare finish

cut meat with the grain in about 1" slices and pick at this stuff all afternoon long.

my favorite is 10oz tenderloin medium rare.

    rock salt to season only

brush a very small coat of melted butter before you throw it on the grill.

grill on high direct heat for 6 minutes on each side - turning the meat 45deg at the 3 minute mark make to give you those nice diamond grill marks.

serve with grilled asparagus brushed with olive oil and parmesan cheese flakes
