Don't confuse this protesting with weakness, an attack on Iran would rally everyone around the government.

If there is one thing that Iranians hate more than the current regime is occupation, in Persian soldiers know it is better to die defending your country than letting an occupier take inch of your soil. Remeber the Iraq-Iran war? Iraq attacked when Iran staged a revolution and had hung or killed all of the Shah's military commanders and the military was broken up, even with US/British/Arab support Iraq was not able to move past the outer limits of Iran after 8 years of war before being pushed back. That was the same Saddam that claimed it would take only 3 days to reach Tehran.

This current situation works in Israel and US's favor because it undermines the government's popularity with the people.

The US has devoted millions dollars of funds to try to have the people of Iran stage a regime change, because it would be wayy too costly through war.

this has been going on for decades,if it were an oil producing country the US would of been there years ago.

I think Iran has 20something% of the world's oil and more natty gas than any other country.... maybe wrong but there is deff weapons of mass distruction in Iran...
