    I think you're actually right yup, and emotion also has a direct impact on memories too. Like the emotion of fear while being raped (hypothetically speaking) can make someone remember that event every minute for the rest of their life, or do that exact opposite and make them suppress the memory and bury forever.
    I remember writing a paper for school once on this actually, all about trauma/crisis and associated disorders. (that had a lot to do with memory)

    But you do bring up a great last point, the fact that audiobooks may not work better for most people because of how we waste years training ourselves to gather data from books or other print form. Because we have never practiced with audio, maybe practicing learning can actually help you learn quicker..
