Saw the movie Hurt Locker last night....

I am not sure how many of you have heard about this movie. It is about an EOD(Explosive Ordinance Disposal) team in Iraq and I thought for the most part it was incredibly well done. I did two tours over there and on my second I was attached to an MP(Military Police) battalion and it was our job to provide security for the EOD teams while they did their jobs. Crazy f-ckers.....but most of the time we would just shoot at the IED with a .50 cal to see if we could blow it up or destroy it without having to risk anybody's life.

Of course some of it is absurd but they do that with any hollywood movie but for anybody who has ever served over there or been interested in the war from the troops points of view it is pretty accurately done. I recommend it to anyone.

If anybody has seen it let me know what you though.

Yeah Matt, if I remember you served with the Royal Marines in Iraq correct? You will dig it man. Best movie about the war I have seen yet. Check it out, it is only in limited theaters now in the US so I am not sure when you will be able to see it in UK.

Looks nice!

Watched the trailer and the part with the 'ring' and how
the box is filled with things that nearly killed him made me laugh
how it was placed in there. Definitely going to try to watch this.

My brother downloaded it last night and I'm gonna go watch it soon. The movie has been out for a long time, but has gotten little publicity in the states. I can't wait to see it.
